Chronic pain is consuming and sometimes you want to mask the pain for one minute of freedom and relief. To do that you need something to kill the pain, to block your receptors from communicating that there is a threat within your body.

As a society, whenever we need to disguise and conceal pain, we lean on certain pain killing drugs to help. Do you know what you’re putting into your body and how it’s affecting your physiology?

What are you putting in your body?

It’s time to get your research hat on to explore and really understand the effect your pain killers, and alternatively herbal supplements are having on your body.

With either, you are essentially manipulating your body to do something unnatural. We are always so concerned about putting stuff in our bodies, so I want you to ask yourself; Do I actually need it? Why is my body not producing enough of it to sustain me in the first place?

With the support from our environment your body should naturally be able to produce all it needs.

On your research journey explore the following questions:

  • What is the purpose of the drug/supplement?
  • How long should you be on them?
  • Are there side effects?
  • What happens if you don’t take it correctly?
  • What if you combine it with other medications?
